The AW24 Holiday Collection, nicknamed Bedtime Stories, was built around a simple but charming idea: what if your favorite childhood storybook characters grew up and wore Evewear? The campaign introduced Eloise and Madeline, named for their literary counterparts, and brought that world to life in pink-striped cotton and rainbow-star-printed pajamas. The collection also included a matching pillowcase with a ruffle trim, because a good bedtime story leads to the sweetest dreams. The lookbook was shot in an apartment setting, with each look styled as a grown-up interpretation of its character. The Eloise, a cool New York City girl completely in charge of her world, and the Madeline, a chic Parisian fille with berets, baguettes, and primary colors. After the photos came back, I illustrated directly over each image in the style of the original books, coloring in the classic black-and-white (and pink!) sketchy style of Eloise and the monochromatic, yellow watercolor style of Madeline. The e-comm shoot, scattered with oversized stars, evoked the beauty of holiday decorations. The campaign also included two narrated, half-animated videos retelling each character's story like a classic bedtime story read aloud.
